The color pattern from longhorns can come up for several generations. But the efficiency and longevity will also show up. A little bit of longhorn will show, both the good and the bad.

I've watched that one from day one. Mom is a Longhorn bred to a Char, neighbor kept her and she bred back to an Angus bull.

I agreed with you on Char throws skunktails. Seen several skunktails out of char x Angus cross in the past. Great looking calves, bad looking paycheck.

Should have bred her back to Charolais. But whatever, I would feed that calf out and sell it for freezer beef. Wouldn't bat an eye.
