Hope your not waiting for any calves hd. Better take your own advice and break out the Drambuie! ;-)

The way this winds blowing and howling and snowing- its more like a Crown Royal hot toddy night...... ;-)

Well, looks like the warning's ended for Whitecourt, Edson, Foxcreek, Swan Hills area and Drayton Valley, Rimbey, Devon, Pigeon Lake. Not for Rocky Mountain House, Caroline and Red Deer, Ponoka, Innisfail, Stetler areas. From the radar imagery on Enviro Canada, it looks like its moving south east and disipating.

Got an east wind blowing at around 12am Saturday night or I should say Sunday morning. Got a small dusting of snow.
Last night got a really nice wet snow.
Better some moisture then to have none.

Well did everyone recover from the snow?

We didn't get it as bad as they said it was just enough to make the highways unbearable and make walking to the cows exhausting.

It did get to +1 today
The calves were all running around and kicking their little legs up.They are so cute at that age.The cows are happily chewing their cud nestled in their bedding and I got to use the tub grinder to give bedding finally :D
What a b@#tch it is to try and hook up in really cold weather and giving bedding the pitch fork way is just not time efficient; not to mention hard on the 'ole body.

Supposed to be nice all week and I brought an other group over this afternoon that are due anytime now so things are looking up again. :tiphat:
