smokestack ?

Hi,
I have a 195? Farmall tractor. I knocked the smokestack loose - it's hanging on about 1/2 way. Will I mess something up if I keep driving it until I figure out how to fix it ?

if your talking about the exhaust i will be fine. if you knocked the muffler off you need to replace it because the engine does need some exhaust back pressure for proper cylinder scavenging. its also hard on the valves and the valve seats are not hardened. it will be ok in the short term.

diesel..no probs but yer ears. gas i would fix it whenever. youll never run it long enuff to hurt it

I just wanted to finish up mowing before we fixed it. The hay is cut and baled and the yard is mowed and it was an easy fix. :wave:
