The bull we purchased from a breeder with 80 head of momma cows, at the cost of $1300, sired daughters who averaged 101% weaning and yearling weights in the same herd, head to head with the progeny of a bull of VERY BIG Bloodlines. Then a cow that had a calf the previous year by the big time bull weaned a 100 pound heavier calf this year out of our bull. I think you all know what discussion prompted this post. :lol:

Willow, you being a Part Time Preacher and all should know not to tell stories like this. I don't know which discussiion Prompted this Post, but I know that no one wants cattle from small herds because they are not as good or can perform as well as cattle from the BIG NAME BREEDERS.The scales must have been wrong when you weighed that 100 lb. heavier calf from the Unknown Bull :lol: Besides, a $1300.00 bull isn't wanted by anyone. You should go and give the man that you bought this bull from another couple G's or you won't be able to live with yourself. :lol: :lol:
