Flayboy, have a check in his mouth 1st check he hasn't got woolf teeth there really, small on a young horse but if the bit touches them it will be ugly for the horse and you. Also dose he side rein?.ie: direct rein, will he give to pressure? All these are steps most backyard trainers will miss. Also check your bit for sharp points. Cindy

Thanks Cindy. He had his wolf teeth removed. Yes, he direct reins and is getting better each time I ride him with the indirect rein. He indirect reins pretty well now at a walk. I have direct rein him a little at speed. Yes, he gives to pressure pretty well. He is not throwing the head much anymore. I have been riding him more (see Bronco Skip thread) and I think he was just doing it to fight me. I think his biggest problem was he had intimidated who ever was trying to train him. I think he is getting the message clearly now that I won't be intimidated.

I agree with what Alacowman said in the other thread. He just needs wet blanket training. :lol:
