Simmental? bull info

I have semen with a stud code of 28SM0357. The 28 is carried by Alta genetics' canuk divison (formerly Western breeders) but all I can find is dairy bulls. I'm assuming he is Simmental and maybe even fleck. The rest of the numbers on the straw are too worn to read.

Can anyone come up with a name and better yet, even a picture?

I had excellent results emailing 2 places and asking for ID of some semen I had that was collected at their facilities. I did have the full number. On the one I'm glad I didn't waste the postage!
They probably could give you a list based on partial numbers.

Thanks to the efforts of clippityclop, I now have his registration number with the simmy assoc. Clippityclop also found out that Meyer 734 is a grandson of this TNT MrT bull.

Hmmm... if 734 is a grandson, the bull you have semen on is probably from the 80's? It might be a good bull!

Why dont you try quickly looking at a straw and replacing it in the tank. His name and/or registration number is more than likely on each straw. That would solve your identity problem.

Because... as I stated in my origional post, the other letters and numbers are too worn to read. Don't know why, but there are not enough left of the numbers to make out.

OK I apologize. I missed the "on the straw" part of your post. I guess I worked too long and hard today. Plus its been really hot and dry!! ha!
