Silver bullet

I have the following weeds on some new places, and was wondering if there is a silver bullet approach to them
Lantana
Tropical soda apple
Nutsedge
Crabgrass of some sort

I know 2,4-d gets the tropical soda apple, and image gets the nutsedge, but what would be the best combo for all of the above? I figure on spot spraying spraying the soda apple and the lantana.

Not sure I would use Image, even if it does controll nutsedge and crabgrass.

It evidently also knocks back or kills (depends who ya listen to) Bahia, perenial Ryegrass, and tall fescue.

Looks like that Silver Bullet isn't here yet, but should/might be later this year. Kills Lantana, dog fennel, tropical soda apple and others.

The herbicide aminocyclopyrachlor was also highly effective at controlling lantana. This herbicide is not yet registered for use in pastures and does not have a trade name, but registration is anticipated by 2013. Regardless, aminocyclopyrachlor provided excellent lantana control when applied only once in the fall. This herbicide is also highly active on a number of other weed species (dogfennel, tropical soda apple, and others). Using aminocyclopyrachlor will likely be the preferred method for lantana control in the future.

Not sure what the date was on this article tho, and if it's the same thing as Dupont's Imprelis, it's been banned by EPA.

I haven't heard about image's affects on Bahia. That's what the field is. My main concerns are the tsa, the lantana, and then the crabgrass and nutsedge
 
I have a book that says every "weed" actually tells us what is going on in the soil to make things favorable for their existence. I can only find nuts hedge in it and it says low calcium and phosphorus and wet tight soil.

Some rolls of premier electro-netting and a few sheep/goats will knock that out in a season. Could pick them up at the sales barn and then send them back when they have done their job.

I just hate chemicals
 
The nutsedge and crabgrass is only on about 3 acres, so they arent a big deal. The lantana is on a 230 acre piece, and they all have the TSA. That's why the lantana and tsa are my biggest concerns. I don't want them to take over
 
My experience with crab grass is that it doesn't grow slow than the rest, the cows just eat it as fast as it comes up. Its candy to them.
