Found these boards looks like this'll be the best place for me to get a answer. A week ago one of our cows started acting funny walking around uncoordinated, labored breathing, and wouldn't eat. A second cow showed similar symptoms except the labored breath. We gave the first one a shot of draxxin. Afterwards the cow improved over the next few days eating, drinking, and moving around as it did before. The second cow now is back to normal we gave it nothing. But the first cow is now worsened again. This time it's symptoms include incoordination, constant chewing as if something was in its mouth, foaming of the mouth, and will not eat but will drink when a bucket of water is put up to it's face.

Have you consulted with your vet? Does the cow have a temp? Getting a temperature would be the first thing I would do and then talk to my vet to get his advice or have him come for a farm visit.

Sounds almost like battery or hardware intake that calves can sometimes get when they rumble through old trash piles. If so, thiamine will cure it. You can inject the the stuff they sell for horses and usually cure that. Cost is practically nothing.

Not enough info to really tell anything. It could be any one of many deficiencies. Could be an injury. Get the cow in a medina gate or chute and get her temp. That's the first thing you should always do to gauge the seriousness.
