I have a 3 month old hostein steer sick gave him la 200 thought he has pnemonia called the vet and got a shot of muflor and seleium? he is eating ok we put him back on the bottle too. He wont get up by his self we have to help him up and he will walk around for a few hours. my question is should we give him more shots is he saveable. Nuflor was a single dose of 12cc.. He sits up fine too

We've rarely required a second shot of Nuflor, but the few times we did we waited 2 days then hit them again.

we have been giving him vit b and the vet gave us baytril last week and this week the nuflor can the pnemonia be so bad that its not enough or maybe is he to far gone

Has the vet or anyone that knows what they're listening for listened to his lungs. There's a possibility that the lungs are so scarred that he can't be helped. A couple of years ago we picked up a dandy little Hereford bull calf. He was sick when we got him and gave him Nuflor, he got better for a couople of days, then he got worse. Gave him more Nuflor, got better then worse. We did that for almost a month. Had the vet out oneday cause it was driving us nuts. He listened to him and his lungs had fluid, but the real problem was a faulty heart valve. I wacked him.
