I am new this cattle thing. I have no clue how showing works. I showed swine for over 10yrs. but could someone tell me how it works? I mean is it like fairs or are there like just cattle shows. or is like a certain breed shows I know showing swine after showing them we have a auction to sale them. you dont this with cattle do you? or is that just at fairs you auction them off? Know any web sites that will tell me about shows and stuff. any information will be a big help thank you sooo much.

Call the livestock extension agent in your county or a local 4-H leader. They can help you get the information you are looking for. Go to a cattle show and watch, that is a good way to learn. Thats how I got started..
