Show steer weight

[Angus Cattle Shower]

I have a show steer that is 3/4 Hereford 1/4 Simmental. Now he weighs about 7-800 pounds. Is this too heavy? The show is in July.

You should be okay.

At a 3 pound a day average weight gain you should be ok. Check his weight every couple of weeks so you will know what he is doing.
