Anyone who knows anything about cricket would know Shane Warne, absolute freak of a player. Dead at 52 from a heart attack, huge shock. We were already sad at Rod Marsh passing, a legend of the game but this is a big shock.

For those who never heard of him, when he first came onto the international scene he went to bowl for Australia against England and we have a fierce rivalry. England brought in a specialist player of spin bowling to give him a lesson on top level cricket, the following ball is his first in England to the batsman mentioned.

Yep that was a memorable ball. I think Warney would have been a good poker player.
He was having a holiday in Thailand wasn't he Red? He was known for having a good time, may have over exerted himself.

Yeah was on the world poker tour. Definitely lead a lifestyle that wasn't good for a long life. They did say he was alone when he died.......

Only the good die young or so I hear so I strive for mediocre. Never heard of him but it is sad either way. In my part of the world cricket is fishing bait or night time music entertainment .
Yeah cricket is quite unkown in the U.S. I find it takes a good day of drinking beer in the sun to appreciate what cricket has to offer.
