At what age should I separate a heifer calf from the herd to prevent early breeding?

Depends on the breed and the individual. We wean our heifers at around 205 days then when we give boosters 3 weeks later we give a shot of lutelyse. The bull gets removed when they're about 5 months so the only chance of them being bred is by a bull calf between then and weaning
