what about when they sell a mixed load of steers and heifers, and they say heifers 8 bucks back. Is that 8 bucks back on the sale price the steers sold at, or just 8 bucks a head back on those heifers?

thats an easy q to answer.if the steers bring $1.30 a lb.then the heifers would sell for a $1.22 lb.thus the $8 back.
