Seed prices

Locally OG will be running close to 3 bucks a pound, fescue over a buck and a half and no lespedeza this year.

Orchardgrass and fescue seed (as well as other seed) is produced all around me and I would expect to see high prices for at least 1-2 more years. Less acres of grass seed production due to high prices in other commodities (small grains, etc...) but also due to high input cost (fuel, N, etc...). I have heard the same is true for other grass seed production areas around the world.
