So my property has about 75 acres of cutover... I'll never cease to be amazed at the ways a full grown cow can hide while calving. After about 2 hours of riding/walking/beating bushes, I finally found her. Most of the cutover is bottom land, so you can see it's entirety from where my house is. This lady was at the foot of an old pond levee and almost out of site. Saw her and thought she was a stump, then the stump flipped a tail. First calf heifer that went the right way. Heifer calf on the ground.
