The trailer definitely needs tires. It's not perfect. The plates on it have been expired since 2003, so we might have to go through some hoops to get it registered -- we'll see. But for $150, it was a helluva deal.
 
You might also want to pull the wheels and check the bearings.

Tires are so expensive now. The last ones we put on our big trailer cost close to $900. You have to be sure to get ones rated for a heavy load.
