Scat's cows

Here they are. These are my favorites. Let's here your comments, but remember I'm a greenhorn. These are my first and they are alright to me.

What do you think?

I teach and coach after school, so at night is the only time I get to see them. Sorry.

I'm not crazy about the horned cow, but the lineback looks like she has potential, but I'm partial to lineback cattle. Those sure are some mean looking cow dogs you got there!

Those are good cow dogs, now. Thought that I was going to kill one of them the first day I got the cows. We ran up and down the pasture saying ugly things about the white dog. (Mostly my Wife) But now we are all friends. Dogs have even learned to like range cubes. And my wife is talking nice again.

I think those are nice looking cows. You've done well at the sales barn. I especially like the calf. Aren't ear tags great? With all my black cows looking so much alike, it really helped me to get to know them individually. I'm thinking about getting some for my kids.

Being a beginner get a hacksaw and cut them worthless horns off nothing but problems looking for a spot to happen. Being this is a salebarn lot Lord help me for saying this go buy you a good hatchet butt bull. Retain a crop or two of calves culling your older or problem cows as you will have some good replacements. Now haul that worthless hatchet butt bull to the salebarn and get a quality polled Hereford and make black baldies.
