salt block

Can someone tell me why my heifers wont touch the salt block. They are still on the pasture and mineral tub, but wont touch the salt at all. Is this normal? It has been over a month since I put it out.

If they need it they will lick it. Don't worry about it.

Check the salt content of your mineral mix and you will answer your own question!
