I don't know much about them either, but I was visiting a customer of mine in ND last week, and I saw some dam good Salar bulls. The only ones I ever saw before were long legged and pencil gutted, and ussually had a poor disposition. But these were just the opposite. Deep bodied, thick rearends, long made, and pretty quiet too. I was really impressed with them. They run Red Angus cows and put a Salar bull on most of them. They do run some Red Angus bulls on them too. Anyway, pretty impressive set of bulls.
