i would agree with this as well. i have been around quite a few salers and crosses and they are hard to beat for a momma cow but i wouldnt personally use them for a terminal cross.
 
i raise salers and i really like them.i have never had to pull a saler x or fullblood calf,heifers included.none of my salers are wild a bit.the only thing i could say bad is some of them get a little leggy but just call for that.i have a saler bull 4 sale right now on cattle range.hes the one from kansas.

A limousine on brangus will mostly give black calves.

I just can't figure out why he wont answer his phone. I don't need a bull, I just wanna talk for an hour or two. I thought I might load up the family and go see him for the weekend :D HD y'all wanna come on down? We can all meet at pieds house. :banana:

He didn't post them on here, HD. He posted them on Cattle Range. Kinda hard to sell something if you don't give potential buyers a way to contact you.

I know Van ,but red flags always go up when someones full name and # are revealed on here, I just don't like it unless they are posting it themselves. If Pied is OK with it then that is fine ,but if he would rather not have it posted on here then maybe it can be edited. Had a friend get his identity stolen a few months ago and the police think it started by too much info being given out by accident on a forum.

AND just look at ISO, he and his whole clan are fixing to move in with Pied :lol:
 
Jaime if greys are docked in your area make sure you use a bull that does not have the diluter gene. Don't know if Salers have them or not but Chars do ,but I thought someone else posted that you can get Chars now that don't have the gene :?

Lots of good choices out there for terminal crosses !

Havent ear about chars whit out the dene, about lots of terminal choises, what to shoose i can find nice chars, angus, hereford, and saler in my area
