The 500-700# medium frame Char X steers were selling for $1.05 on avg this week in my area.

Just wondering how prices in other areas are doing on the same type X calf?

that's a wide gap 500 lbs to 7oo lbs....the 500 will bring you 1.05-1.10, but the 700 will only fetch .85-.95... which is down considerably from a year ago...

We just sold a load of 770 lbs Red Angus steers off the ranch for $1.02. But it was through the NHTC program. (natural)

sounds like a good number to me..i'm not bragging on the market in this area...i'd have to ship to get that price..

i see the 779 brought avg. .99 the closer you get to grain the more you can get...same steer here .85-.95...
