I took that locoed mare to the last kill plant in the US. I couln't sell her or give her away she would have injured or killed someone. It was in San Antonio. I walked around and checked the place out. They penned the horses under shade with hay and water. They had a ramp way to heaven type arrangement designed by Temple Grandin.
The greatest horse of my life I came home from the hospital one night and found her dead on the ground at the age of 40. I saw by the tracks she had gone into the barn to get a drink, came out and fell dead without a struggle. She was with another horse. Thats the way to go
