I have a sherrill saddle with a broken tree --does anyone know if I can buy a replacement tree--and if the sherrill company still exists

What you'll probably have to do is take it to a good saddle maker/repair shop. They'll strip it down and send the tree to one of the tree makers and have it duplicated.
I just had this done to a hand made saddle I bought for next to nothing because the tree was warped. If I had stopped at just getting the tree replaced the bill would have been less then $250. That was okay but I heard about the other $300.Z
