Keep your eyes and ears open. There is a story brewing in Missouri about an individual who has stolen 4500 head of cattle from various individuals. I can't post many details, but I know for a fact that one person has lost a large number of bred heifers valued at $700,000.00  My understanding the FBI is involved, and I'm sure it will come out in public soon, if it hasn't already. I google it, but couldn't come up with anything.

Don't know exactly how the guy did it, but I believe he was having multiple people buy the same cattle, and also flat out stole some people's cattle. I know he sold a portion of the previously mentioned person's cattle and never gave him the money.

The guy I know that had this happen to is a great guy, and is torn up over it. He thought he could trust the individual. It is a shame, and the thief will probably get to spend jail time.

It sounds like it might be similar to something that happened years ago when warmblood horses first started coming over from Europe. "Dealers" would sell interest in these "high priced" horses... that actually weren't good ones, and the owners never got to see them. Sold the same horse many times over, pocketed the $$ and skipped down. There were a LOT of people in Illinois that lost a lot of money.

It's really a shame that some folks have don't have anything better to do that figure out a way to SCREW someone else. If he/ she would work that hard at a JOB, they might actually have something!
