Has anyone ever seen an anomaly like this? I have 3 heifers (the one shown is the most pronounced ) that only developed this in the past 2 months or so; they were NOT born like this. None of my cows have the anomaly and none of these (from last year) heifers are first calves. Appears to be right @ the sacral joint.
I'm concerned it could cause difficulty in calving, although the topline is still straight.
Nutritional? All my cows have free access to loose mineral/plus trace mineral blocks. I was intending to keep these heifers but now I'm not sure. Thinking of butchering this one and looking at the spine. Would love input.
