ryegrass hay

My neighbor says he has about 90 acres of ryegrass he wants to sell in the field. It has not been fertilized but was planted as a cover crop on soybeans.

I was thinking about offering him 10 per roll . I can get a fellow to cut rake and bale it for 15. This would put a roll at 25. Does that sound fair?

Sounds like your stealing it. They are getting $60 plus around here and thats not very good hay.
The soybeans may have put some nitrogen back into the soil so the hay may not have required fert.
