Thanks everyone! I have tried not to run up my posts with minor comments...guess I'm too modest...lol. Try to keep ears open and mouth shut as much as possible...
I'll try to keep my votes for Bush, Texas Longhorn Cattle, Second Amendment Rights, Gaited Horses, and when all else fails..."Lock & Load"! (I didn't really say those things, did I???).
"...an unarmed citizen is a target."
Next week we're entering one of our junior bulls in the TLBAA Horn Showcase measuring event in Ft. Worth...wish us luck!
News: Just completed our annual re-testing for our TAHC TB Accredited & Brucellosis Certified disease free herd status yesterday. Can't wait to get this year's Vet bill...
We try to keep our 2 websites updated frequently with new photos of some of cattle and other "corrections" to typos we continually find, etc.
Had another heifer calf October 27. Three more expected in January. Lost count of how many rest of spring...lol. Recently bought back a 3.8 yr old LH bull with mediocre horns...been servicing a commercial angus, charlolais, hereford mixed herd.... He's ready to go again to someone else...all new vacinations, etc., he's almost a "pet" (NOT!). Our other 5 bull calves (Spring 2005) are looking good!
Will be hauling a load of Dexter cows, heifers, bull to a ranch in Ft. Davis, TX area this month...we've been boarding them this year while they make changes in their pen & corral areas. They were downloaded here from sellers in Oregon, Michigan, and Central Texas. Little fat butterballs...real tame...really! Will miss seeing them here ;-)
About all stuff for now folks! Thanks again for everyone's kind words the past year or so.
