Ruidoso Downs. What was it like?

I used to sell several mules that ended up in Ruidoso at some race track. All were out of TB mares. Seems like some movie stars from the 90's were in on it big.

Ruidoso Downs, NM, ran some of the richest QH races in the world, for many years. That was the first $million race for QH. Have not kept up on it at all recently. In a previous life, an ex's mother ran the kitchen at Riodoso, and his dad always hoped to raise the "great hope," on his own or as a trainer. That, of course, never happened. They are both gone now. Learn something more every day, don't ya? ;)
