Does anyone have any thought, experiences, or opinions on the Angus Bull, "RR Daquante"? I have acquired 5 straws of him and I'm trying to get some information. Thanks for your help.
Here is the best info that I can remember. His dam was suppose to be a prolific donor at rolin rock. They did put him and a whole slew of his maternal brothers into stud at one time or another. Seems that they did not gain much ground. The only maternal brother still in stud that I know of would be Northern Improvement 44GF.
If I remember the bull, he did not have the muscle and build of his sire. He seemed to be a thowback to the early 80's. Even though he was from the 90's. If memory serves me correctly (once again) he was a select sires bull. They just may have some info on him. Here is the link to his pedigree. http://www.angus.org/common/epd_ped_dtl ... 434054444A
I would think that your Regional AAA manager might also know a bit about him.
Yes, this is the bull "R R Daquantae 789E Reg: #+12462818". I really like his pedigree and his EPD's are acceptable but I can't remember him producing anything of significance. I will look on the Select Sires site and see if there is an old picture of him. Thanks for the help and keep it coming.
