The big changes are cancellation of the parade, the street dance, no carnival rides, and there will be no mutton bustin event at rodeo for the kids.
County residents will save a crap load of $$ since the carnival won't be there.....

Off to the last high school rodeo of the year tomorrow afternoon. Hopefully the weather holds.

We jumped ship on youth rodeo/high school/middle school NHSRA. I just couldn't keep going around it. Make a long story short it was interfering with my walk with Christ. Big ropin tonight. It's $200 a man to enter (sounds expensive but a fraction of the cost of NHSRA). Payout will be in the neighbor hood of 4K. No fundraiser crap to sell, nobody volunteering their opinion about what's "fair". Be somebody there hired to strip ropes and push cattle. IMHO, just a much better deal.
