Rice in a bag.

Yes it's been a terrible idea for at least 25 yrs
That's flabbergasting. I only became aware of its existence 2 or 3 days ago when it was the only Uncle Ben's option at Harvey's. A very poor substitute for the original Uncle Ben's. They still sell the original at Piggly Wiggly, I bought 2 boxes yesterday.

Beats taters in a box.
Hungry Jack mashed potatoes from a box pretty good. If I make them, and I rarely do, that's what I use. My wife makes them from scratch and they are the best certainly, but a lot of work. Rice in a bag is more work and messier and costs more and not near as good to eat as rice not in a bag.

I did not know about the pork rinds in a bag, I'll give them a shot if I see any for sale. I like pork rinds.
