I just figured my gain for my calves. Fairly good pasture(dormant), med. quality hay, good mineral and 16% creep free choice. I figured they gained around 1 lb for every ten they ate. Question fair, poor, average.
It would depend on the ratio of the feed. Lots of grain with little forage 10 to 1 is low. Lots of forage with a little grain a 10 to 1 is decent.
