Renewed today

I just renewed my NRA membership today after several years of not being a member. I got tired of the solicitation phone calls and mounds of junk mail. This time I submitted everything on-line and did not have to give out my phone number. I can deal with the emails. With renewed attacks on the 2nd ammendment I encourage those who are either non-members or have not renewed to do so as soon as possible. I am sensing a big push coming by the anti-gun crowd.

Hoss I did the same thing as you got tried of the calls and mail. I even contacted them about the mail and told them I felt that my membership dues could be used in a better way. They kept sending it so I got out and told them to stop calling me but they still call me about once a year. I may check out joining online though. Thanks for the heads up.

The membership application will ask for your phone number just don't put it in. It will still accept your application. You will need to supply your address if you want the magazine subscription.

I did the same thing last week;
I guess great mind's think alike. ;-)

They have video cameras of Baugh opening letters from little old religious ladies and pulling out money and checks right there in the post office. Letters were tossed in the trash without even reading the words and comments. He is one of the biggest religious frauds I have even known in my life time. Heston backed him. That's when many of us had to leave the NRA. The phone calls were indeed annoying as was continual junk mail and false promises. At the same time, no other organization has done more to support this right and it is one way we can unite for common cause.

Mostly just wanted to say that I left for a reason. it was not about appreciation but rather principle. Baugh is a crook. I could go on for days about him.

Who is he? I don't know this person. Is he still with NRA?
