I may have a little trouble explaining this clearly but here goes. We have a concrete feed trough for our milk cows that have a place to put a 4x6 wood post in it. Now occasionally these posts will break and depends on where they break at, can be a real pain getting the broken piece out to be able to put new one back in. The post goes down about 2 feet or so below the level of the concrete which is what makes it a pain to get the broken piece out. There is no way to get a chain or anything around it, We have found no easy way to get it out, we just normally take a drill with wood bits and keep drilling and prying away with chisels and whatnot until we get it all out. This is time consuming and takes forever.

Came here to see if anyone had any ideas on a easier way to get that broken piece out. Hope you can understand what I am talking about. I may try to get a pic of it.
