Hey it's me again. The LITTLE BULL is long gone. I haven't had the heifers vet checked yet. But today the neighbors bull came around and of course my girls were glad to see him. I noticed on each side or their tailhead was swelling up big time. Does that mean they are NOT BRED???? :cry2: :cry2: :cry2:

Can you be a little more descriptive? tail, vulva, udder, hips... what exactly are we talking about that's in the vicinity of the tailhead?

Pics are nice, just a hint. ;-)

Was the neighbor's bull breeding them or were they simply glad for bovine company?

BTW, welcome back.

They were swelling up on the left and right of their tail, maybe it's the vulva area. It almost looked like they had emplants. (not to be crude) and they were crowding the fence. I finally chased them away from the fence with the bull. What should I do now??

That almost sounds like fat deposits. Why not get them pregnancy checked so that you will know for sure whether or not they are pregnant.
Time is money in the cattle business and if they are open, you are wasting time.
