If anyone remembers this calf born in May, had such a hard start. Tough pull, not breathing, rejected by mother, couldn't walk because of popping joints, developed bloody scours. Didn't take a bottle until 2weeks old, would not eat grain, but finally got adopted at 2 1/2 months old...He's doing alright. Not as big as his brothers and sisters, but catching up. That's his adopted mom in the backround. This calf is still alive because of this board.

His joints all tightened up. He was and still is real lanky. I would like to creep feed him, but it is very hard just to feed one calf without starting a stampede.
