Relaunch of the SS Minnow

Dead eye somehow wrangled A friends son who just bought a house into trading an old sears game fisher and a Minn Kota 12v trolling motor for some labor. Now, seeing as none of friends son's friends showed up to do any work and dead eye was there ready and willing and actually did some work, it made me smile. The boat needed some glass work fixing boulder sized holes that we got done this morning, the trolling motor needed some wire work, but it's ready for a relaunch tomorrow.
Headed to mullet lake park for it's maiden voyage. It's pretty cool seeing how excited he is.

Plan is to fish as much as possible with the weather, then get it back and pressure wash and prep it for paint.

I've seen pictures you've posted from the time I joined CT. Deadeye is growing up. Poor guy starting to look like the ole man :help: ;-) I feel like I've watched him grow up. Good job hook

Cryin shame that he doesn't take after his mom more. He really is a joy to be around and raise. And I know it won't be long before his sights are set on the split tails and nothing else will matter
