If there were different breeds, your hybrid vigor would be higher. MARC research time and time again has proven that using crossbred/hybrid bulls can be done.
I don't have a problem with using a crossbred bull if it is made up of two solid breeds. But when you throw a colored breed or three more breeds in the mix, you will lost consistency in the calves. From what I've read, and from personal experience, you won't get much consistency in the calves. And are you sure about the hybrid vigor when 4 or more breeds are involved?
