What is a red charolais? My dad seems to think its a cross between red angus and charolais to make them red. Is this true?

Agree, there seems to be more of the red factor in the more northern areas. Some of the Canadian breeders promote them. Most I have seen do look very good.Red Bull Breeder":2uamdp1r said:
Also I am pretty sure some of the red ones were used in development of the Black Charolais since it was already a darker color. I still say that one is a joke.
