Found this the other day, some of the recipes looked pretty good! Thought some of you might like to look them over.

Not sure if it effects dial up users but it's close to 500 pages of recipes.

Thanks for that...some good recipies there some of the ingredients I can't get here....Wish I could get the ingredients for a good Corn Bread. I miss that with some meals.

This sound really lovely but there lies the problem I can not get corn meal here, I have tried specialist shops, but noone seems to stock it, that is why I am stummped. and buttermilk only come in flavoured variaties, such as strawberry, vanila and peach. it would seem the taste buds are different here. but I will try again to find the ingredients, if I do I will let you know.....thanks again Chris.

My Sister-in-Law lives in Spain and she has the same problem - can't get some of the stuff she likes. We send her a care package from time to time. If you would like some corn meal I'll pick some up for you next time we go to the store. I suppose it can be sent in the mail???

Thanks Earl, but food stuff can't be sent, something to do with the export trading laws not sure what it is, as my Brother-in-law was going to send me some and he was told he couldn't. They told him some packages are x-rayed if it is not listed what is inside and both parties can get into trouble, and I wouldn't want that to happen to you, but it is a very kind thought on your part I much appreciate it.....Chris.

ps we also don't have bacon fat, I would have to use oil, and was told this is not as good a taste.
