I really miss my cow dog ( she didnt mind cats in her older age  ) I lost my dad, dog , and bull all last year. This year has been a little better.

We worked cows today and I really missed her. She never was professionaly trained but if I told her to get that cow back or get the calves in she had been around me enough that she knew.

She got to come inside when it was cold ( she was never house broke but she NEVER messed in the house, hard to believe but true. ) here with my youngest.

I still havent found one with her and the cows ( probably because it was mostly just her and I )

Thank the Lord you are having a better year.

On a brighter note. Those are some cute girls.................They must have a beautiful mother. :pretty:

last year lost my youngest son my fatherinlaw & dad & dog . but life gos on this year been beter only lost hay eq.
hang in there .
spend a little time in the woods , helps to get my mind back to nature
when you sit in one place long enough that the squrils stop cussing at you & just play & search for nuts right in front of you .
then your heart heals a little

My heart felt condolances to you both JHH and Windsaw.....it is hard to loose those that are close, I lost a few loved ones quite close to one another a few times, it is not easy but eventually things seem to settle down and you can look back and raise a smile when you think of them. Time is a great healer as they say, and that sure is what it takes, gone but never forgotten.
