Seeing how good the grass looks in your picture raises a side question. Did you have about the same amount of grass this time last year (before the drought) as you do now?

We had two heifers that didn't stick on their first two heats. One finally calved yesterday, a little heifer, 67 lbs, with about 50 lbs of leg! The other one is bagging up a little but doesn't look to me like she'll drop for another two or three weeks.
