Any thoughts if the Ramp Up Act in Congress will help give an extra market opportunity to us cattle guys?

Dollar short and a day late, this is window dressing. The requirement of inspectors in the name of safety already put all the small plants out of business. Those operators have moved on to other endeavors in my area.
Start up cost would be pretty cost prohibitive to overcome.

Federal government not having a death grip on meat inspection, would do more cheaper. If a plant takes the money to get federally inspected today, they will just have to borrow, or lose status in a couple years when the federal government changes the rules again.
