Milkmaid,

What causes rainbows? ;-)

It's been so long since I have seen arainbow around my parts in Alabama that I have frogotten what causes them. Wouldn't there usually something else that came before or after the rainbows? I have forgot what it called, it has been so long. ;-)

 We call it "rain" - does that sound familiar? :P

We've got a storm moving in at the moment, and obviously we had one the other day (left about 1/4") to have that rainbow, BUT -- most of the fields around here are watered by sprinkler lines. The field in the picture has pipes moved on it twice a day, 6 days a week. You folks back east use sprinklers too? Boss gets four crops of hay off his fields because of it; if farmers didn't use sprinklers we'd be lucky to get a 1st crop - rain isn't that dependable.

Beautiful picture. Especially love that grass! Forgot what it looks like. ;-)
