Rain

We're getting some good soaking rain, it's good to see as we haven't had a drop in 18 days. I started thinking about the summer of 07 and was getting a little nervous.

Same here. It was a welcome sight. We are supposed to get another soaker tonight.

In march here in WV we only got 50% of our average rainfall and so far this month we are under 30% of our average with only a few days left in the month. I had to water my onions i planted 3 weeks ago which is unheard of this time of year around here.

Thankful for what we're getting here, too! It was terribly dusty moving the cows from patch to patch this week, and the grass had kinda stopped coming on. I know the cows will be happy, too.

We have has more today than we have had all month.

I dont mind some rain or snow but since about sept-oct of 07 if it rains we seem to get 4-5 inches at a time. I can do without the flooding and mud for awhile. When it snowed it seemed like we got 4-5 inches. I would like to have about 3 weeks of sunshine and 80. I might quit ranting if I got that ( because I could do something outside)

We have had 4 inches as of right now since friday morning.
