We got around 1 1/2" last night and at least that much this evening and it was sorely needed. The last precipitation we had was late July or early August and it was mostly in the form of hail. A long line of storms moving mostly NE.. should hit DFW and extreme NE Texas in the next couple of hours.

We got 1" and it was much appreciated. Last rain was first of July. Had lots of grass standing but it was burned up. You can already see a green tint to the grass today.

We slung some rye grass around deer stands on Saturday. We will see if it takes.

We got 1.6 last night. Starting to rain again but not sure if the line will come on through or stay just north of us.

We ended up with 4” from last night and this afternoon. 60 degrees all day has been a nice change too.

Ended up coming on through. Got 2.6 inches overnight so 4.20 the past two nights. Only 4.5 behind for the year now.

We had slow rain all day. 5th or 6th day of rain since July 4th. Had 3 mid september. Would be nice to grow grass before it starts freezing overnight.

we got nothing in Kleberg county, I was trimming big mesquites Sunday off a fence line and the cows were stripping leaves from the cut limbs
