Rain

We've been getting "slammed" lately. Last two nights we got pretty good storms. Probably dropped close to an 1". For us that's pretty good since we get, on average, 12" a year.

I got lucky and had 2 tenths this week . everything missed us today . Im in the little blue circle and it doesnt register on the radar precip totals until 3 /10

We've gotten 5 inches this week but that is just what we were behind. It has fallen slow enough to soak in and not all just run off. Grateful for it. We were facing pretty bad fire dangers.

Sky, we've been getting a lot of it here as well. however, I am not yet ready to complain about it or wish it to stop. Memories of drought, are still in the back of my mind.

I hope that the flooding doesn't cause too much damage, and I hope that all the people affected by it, remain safe.

A few days/night ago, some horrendous storms, full of lightning, thunder, heavy winds & rains came through our area. We were without power all night. I had 2 calves born during this time. The grass has finally started to grow.

Our creeks, streams & such are finally getting some good flow. With all the rain that we've had, one would expect to see the water levels much higher (in my area) but that is not the case, that shows just how dry its been around here.

Sky, I hope you get some relief soon, and that you don't have flood damage.

We've had 12" or more since Sunday. I'm ready for it to stop. Not sure if the corn I have in the ground will make it.

we kept getting skipped either north or south but look like rain all day. finally got some the last few days and the fields are really starting to show.. hay fields are up to about 4' high

Turn around, don't drown! BTW we did get a whopping 1.25" last night.

definitely turned around so many roads washed out and cars fall into a hole.. are you supposed to get more?
Potentially dangerous t-storms & hail predicted this evening/through tonight. Tornadoes earlier in the week but didn't get squat for rain. Is it too much to ask for just a reasonable amount of rain without all the destruction?
