Rain returns

Our forecast is for a dry forecast for the next 7 days, with only a very slight chance.... We had about 20 drops yesterday just as son was finishing baling one place... I raked another 10-12 acres at a different place today... 3 fields... then he cut another 20-25 acres today. Then we will have a 10 acre field at a pasture we use... plus I think he is going to cut part of the pasture we have not rotated into yet like we did last year... and about 8+ acres at another pasture that we also have not rotated the cows into that section either. Fastest we have ever gotten hay made here. Yields are lighter, hay did not get as much growth with the drier spring conditions... but it is making up REAL nice with perfect drying conditions... sun, breeze, and NO HUMIDITY...

Sorry you are getting hit with yet more rain @Caustic Burno ....

Been away (in extreme NE Texas) for a few days. Returned home yesterday and rain came this afternoon. 3/4" in about 30 minutes. More to follow later in the week looks like.

Raking hay today that was cut yesterday... and it is already dry. Couple of "green spots" along the tree line... Hay is shorter/thinner than normal due to the dry spring we have had here. Nice to be getting it all done this fast... got 2 more places that I forgot about to do, but still, would be nice to get more done sooner... then maybe we will get some rain???
