Quick corn ration question

If it says to feed 1% of body weight per day in ground whole ear corn, what % percent body weight would that tranate to if the corn was whole kernal instead? Does it make a difference?

Approximately .75 of 1% of bodyweight.

yes, less because it does not have the roughage of the ground corn cob.
